is active.

The effects of respiratory poisons can be
reversed by bypassing the enzyme complexes they
inhibit. Ho There is no means of
reversing the effects of respiratory poisons.

• Rotenone inhibits complex I, so electron chain is
  resumed when succinate is added.
• Antimycin A inhibits complex III, so electron
  chain is resumed when Ferrocyanide is added.
• Potassium Cyanide inhibits complex IV and blocks
  the electron chain.
