Right Decisions at HHS SAVES
  • Middle College Courses 3 college credits
    about 2500 or more
  • AP Courses 3 college credits OR exemptions from
    core courses
  • Skills in reading, writing, math will save you
    for remedial courses for which you will earn
    NO COLLEGE CREDITS (but the cost is the same)

  • YOU MUST EARN 120 credits
  • (105 credits must be)
  • 20 credits in English
  • 20 credits in Phys Ed/Health
  • World History (5 credits in World History)
  • US I, US II (10 credits in US History)
  • Alg 1, Geometry, Alg 2 (15 credits in Math)
  • Biology, Chemistry, Physics (15 credits in
    Science)
  • 10 credits in World Language (5 for 2-year
    college)
  • 10 credits in Fine Arts
  • YOU MUST PASS THE HSPA OR COMPLETE SRA BEFORE
    FEBRUARY 1, 2010!!!

How might a student lose credits?
  • FIVE LATES ONE ABSENCE
  • NO ONE MAY SIGN IN AFTER 910 am (except with
    parent/guardian note)
  • Sixteen UNWAIVED ABSENCES
  • REMOVAL FROM CLASS NO CREDIT
