2The theme for the 2009 event was red, white
blue décor and RSVP Volunteers Answering the
Call to Service (notice the megaphone!) Througho
ut the year, more than 1200 RSVP volunteers at
100 sites gave 203,575 hours of service to our
community!
3Lovely and talented Emily Tworek-Helenbrook, a
local 15 year old, enthralled the guests with her
beautiful voice by singing a medley of songs and
opening the celebration by singing God Bless
America.

5Not only do sponsors help underwrite the event

volunteers! Thank you.
6Tribute Day is an annual event to recognize the
service and devotion of RSVP volunteers
attended by more than 650 individuals this year -
an opportunity to thank them for all their
service to our community!

Executive Al Hammonds spoke to the many ways
volunteers answer the call to service to address
needs in our community and presented 16
individuals Presidential Lifetime Service Awards
