CHRISTMAS PRAYER
  • O Lord, as we prepare for your birthday,
  • Please take care of your children,
  • Especially those less fortunate than we are.
  • Please remind us of the true meaning of
    Christmas,
  • Which is to appreciate the blessings you have
    given us,
  • And to give rather than to receive.
  • Lord, also remind us how to live as Christians
  • By living our lives the way you did,
  • Which means to treat one another
  • as we would like to be treated.
  • And, finally, Lord, please especially bless my
    family,
  • my friends, my relatives and me this
    Christmas
  • Because around this time of year we need
  • All the extra strength you can give us.
  • Thank you, Lord, and happy birthday.
  • Amen.
