• In order to be a tech savvy
• teacher, you will need to
• recognize familiar icons,
• and understand storage devices.

Task

• Your task is to create your own resource of icons
  and storage devices for your notebook. 
• You will use a variation of the method of note
  taking suggested by Dan Mulligan.
• You are encouraged to work with a partner.
•

Process Part I

• With your partner, complete the following
  activities. Make sure each of you create your
  own resource for each of your notebooks.
• Look on your computer and find the following
  icons. Draw your version of each icon on the
  paper given to you. Dont worry if it is not
  perfect. Nobodys perfect!
• 1. Word,
• 2. Recycle Bin,
• 3. Qwizdom,
• 4. Internet Explorer,
• 5. Excel,
• 6. Groupwise,
• 7. PowerPoint,
• 8. Smart Board.

  son6-1.htm and find the following storage
  devices. Fill out the chart given to you.
  
  You will have to do a little looking around and
  follow links on this site to find what you need.
• I. Magnetic Disks
• 3.5 floppy (capacity?)
• Hard Disk/Hard drive (capacity ?)
• II. Optical Disks
• CD-Rom DVD Rom,
• CD-RW,DVD-R/DVDR,
• DVD-RW/DVDRW
• III. Other Devices
• Flash Memory Card,
• USB Drive
