SoftShells Breast Shells were created with
working mothers in mind. Offering the same care
for sore, flat or inverted nipples as Medela's
other shells, the SoftShells offer increased
comfort and a more flattering appearance. Soft,
silicone backs on the shells flex to match the
contour of a woman's breast, creating a more
snug, comfortable fit. The fronts of the shells
are vented on the top to provide proper air
circulation. Highly absorbent foam inserts
protect against leaking.
Therashells are for sore/engorged and
flat/inverted nipples Medela's most economical
breast shells have a natural round shape designed
to be discreet under clothing. They help keep
nipples dry prevent irritation and have vented
fronts to provide air flow and promote healing
and comfort.
Personal Fit Connectors are made by Medula to
custom fit all their breastfeeding pump products.
The Personal Fit Connectors are available in 3
sizesstandard, large, and extra-large. Two
Personal Fit Connectors come in the package.
Contact Nipple Shields require a lactation
consult prior to use. For proper sizing, consult
a lactation professional. They are used for
flat/inverted nipple or latch-on difficulties.
Their unique shape allows more contact between
mom and baby. They may also be used for
overactive let-down of milk. Their unique cut-out
area allows more skin contact between mother and
baby. They are made of pure silicone for comfort
and cleaning is easy. Use under the direction of
a physician, breastfeeding consultant or other
health professional.
Soothies Glycerin Gel Pads have been designed to
soothe painful nipples, help alleviate
discomfort, and contribute to a natural healing
environment. Soothies pads provide natural
moisture to the area. They provide a cooling
sensation and enhance breastfeeding success. They
also protect nipples from friction. Put your
Soothies in the refrigerator or freezer for extra
comfort. They are FDA approved and non-toxic.
Unlike other gel pads, Soothies have a cloth
backing so that they stay in place and don't fall
apart. You can reuse them for several days. They
never dry out and they can even absorb twice
their own weight in breastmilk. Your Soothies
pair will last for approximately 1-3 days. (The
pad is reusable until saturated. It will become
very thick and spongy when it is saturated.)
