Why did an Omniscient God ask the question of
Adam, Where are you? He wanted Adam to realize
He knew where he was, and Adam needed to admit
it. He was calling Adam to Repentance.

• GOD SAYS, WHERE ARE YOU? WAS ADAM
  NO LONGER CLOSE TO GOD?
• Adam had broken fellowship with God.
• God cannot fellowship with sinfulness (Ps.6618).
• How it must have broken the heart of God for Adam
  to stray.
• Adam had it made.
• However, when things are going wel
• l then we fall!

• GOD SAYS, WHERE ARE YOU? DID ADAM
  LEAVE SUDDENLY?
• He left before he ate of the fruit.
• Actions follow the heart.
• When people leave the church, it is usually after
  their heart has already left.
• Thats why they have flimsy, nonsensical excuses.
• Adam stopped listening to Gods word and began
  reasoning on his own.
• Adam did what men throughout all ages have done
• He first began to think, or reason the wrong way.
• When confronted by God, he blamed another (vs.12).

• GOD SAYS, WHERE ARE YOU? ARENT WE
  TODAY LIKE ADAM?
• Man has followed Adams lead throughout history.
• Man is constantly looking for a substitute for
  God.
• We would rather have mans law than Gods grace
  and love (Mark 77-9).
• We dont leave suddenly.
• We begin to drift when we loose our focus.
• When we begin to depend on our flesh, might or
  our mind, and not on God, we loose our focus.
• God warns us about this in (Colossians 28).
