2Prayer in the Fathers HouseLuke 246-49They
found Him in the temple, and He said to them,
Did you not know that I must be about my
Fathers business?
3Heb 416, Therefore let us draw near with
confidence to the throne of grace, so that we may
receive mercy and find grace to help in time of
need.
41 John Series1 John 319-24(Part
XII)Confidence Before the Lord
5The virtue pattern for the spiritual life is
confidence toward God and courage toward people.
6Courage toward people includes your prayers
because you are going to the One in whom you have
confidence, God.
7PUSH Principle P Pray, U Until, S
Something, H Happens.
8Keeping and Pleasing is the believer who is
filled with the Spirit consistently through
Rebound, and has the ultimate virtue of life.
9Virtue is Impersonal Love directed toward people
and situations as well as enforced and genuine
humility which is the basis of confidence toward
God.
10Confidence does not come from arrogance, which is
pseudo confidence. It comes from residence inside
of God's Power System (GPS).
11This means that effectiveness of prayer increases
as your virtues are developed inside GPS.
12Your virtues are the virtues of God resident
inside your soul, "His mandates".
13Residence Mandates speaks to your experiential
sanctification, living in Christ's love by means
of the Spirit. John159-10 Eph 52
14Eph 52, And walk in (the sphere of) love, just
as Christ also loved you and gave Himself up for
us, an offering and a sacrifice to God as a
fragrant aroma.
15Functional MandatesIs your application of
Christ's love towards other people and your own
personal situations.
162 John 6, And this is love, that we keep walking
according to His mandates. This is the mandate,
just as you have heard from the beginning, that
you should keep walking in it.
17Pleasing in His sight"
18Pleasing in His sight" We are not to do the
things we think will be pleasing to God.
19Pleasing in His sight" We are not to do the
things that are pleasing in our own sight. That
is humanistic virtue, which is not acceptable to
God.
20Pleasing in His sight" Instead we are to do
the things that are according to His Word.
21Rom 138, Owe nothing to anyone except to love
one another for he who loves his neighbor has
fulfilled the law.
22. 10Love does no wrong to a neighbor therefore
love is the fulfillment of the law.
23John 1334,I give you a new mandate, that you
love one another even as I have loved you, that
you also love one another.
