Title: ST ANNES SCHOOL
1Ursuline High School The girls in Year 8 at the
Ursuline High School have been engaged in a
philanthropy project. Each class decided on a
good cause to support and the girls in Year 8
Catherine decided to support St Anns School.
Deputy Head Ivan Pryce was invited to speak to
the class about who attend St Anns and how
school helps the pupils to learn and enjoy. The
girls made a presentation to put to the whole
year group and the Year decided on the winning
presentation and who was the winning good
cause. Thank you to Year 8 Catherine for thinking
of us and well done for being involved in such an
excellent activity. Here is 8 Catherines

helping hand by giving them more support and
different opportunities.
5Our name is
6What is St Ann's
- St Ann's is a school for disabled people, people
who have trouble learning. The school provides
hand-on support for the children.
7Real life Story
8Why?
- We think St Anns is important to the community
because it gives more support for the people who
don't receive enough. - We will enrich the children's curriculum by
giving them more support because our name is St
anns helping hands!
9This charity deserves the money
- We believe in a good education for all, able
bodied or not. - Just because some one has a disability does not
mean they deserve a less enriched education than
us.Then all children can achieve more and live
up to their full potential
10If St Anns received the money they would buy a
sound beam
- The sound beam is a electrical piece of equipment
that turns movement into music or sound! - This is a amazing chance to help the kids with
profound disabilities to express themselves in
music. - All 77 students in the school will benefit
11Where the money comes from
- St Anns gets it money for basic education from
the Government just like the Ursuline - But they dont get money for things that really
change peoples lives like the sound beam - They have fantastic voluntary parents
association but they really need more help
12We have had the privilege to speak to deputy head
Mr Price
- He thinks that the school needs more clubs, trips
etc. - He would really like to have the sound beam!
- He is proud of the school, it received
outstanding in its ofsted report.

- So lets help them to enjoy their time there and
help them to express themselves in music! - Every child matters is important and every child
deserves to be able to communicate whether it is
through music, word or actions. - So help St Anns buy the sound beam by letting
