Online Course. Download the WinZip file with the

Folder. After downloading, the zipped folder,
extract it to the Online Course folder on your

Webliography
  • Include a webliography list in your skeleton
  • You might expect a course to have a reference
list or bibliography. Instead you might find a
    "webliography".
  • Patricia Hess (2003) defines webliography as a
critical guide to electronic resources on the
World Wide Web and CD-ROM, including electronic
    texts, HTML-encoded texts, hypertexts, secondary
    works, commentaries, and indexes.'
  • The purpose of the webliography is to collect,
organize, and disseminate pointers to information
and examples on the World Wide Web.
  • Webliography is a word which cannot be found in a
standard Webster's or Oxford dictionary. The
definition of webliography that applies for use
in online courses loosely fluctuates somewhere
between a bibliography of primary sources and a
multimedia site. In its broader and more well
    known definition, webliography denotes an
enumerative list of hypertext links surrounding a
    common subject or theme

8
Discussion Board
  • Make a list of the questions that you might ask
during the course and in which week you might ask
    them.
  • Create temporary agendas for the weekly chats.

9
Schedule
  • Include a weekly schedule for lessons,
    assignments, quizzes, discussions, etc.

10
Pedagogy
  • These are different resources that will aid in
the building of the course skeleton.
  • Developing and Teaching a Course
  • Preparing to Teach the Large Lecture Course
  • Assessing Large Classes
  • Delivering Effective Lectures
  • Online Pedagogy Theories and Best Practices
  • Distance Learning in Louisiana
