Prophecy in the Bible

  days prophesy and dream dreams. (Acts 217-18)
• Minister not only with words, but with a
  demonstration of power. (1 Cor 24-5)
• He (Jesus) also gave apostles, prophets,
  missionaries, as well as pastors and teachers as
  gifts to his church. Their purpose is to prepare
  God's people, to serve, and to build up the body
  of Christ. (Ephesians 411-12)

• 4. Avoid looking for natural clues as to what God
  is saying to the person.
• 5. Record the prophecy.
