• Introduction
• -Recently you may have heard of the slogan of
  the army an army of one.
• -While all Christians are in the Lords army,
  we are indeed responsible for being an army of
  onea good soldier of Jesus Christ (II Tim.
  23)

• Introduction
• -Many soldiers have fallen in battle because
  they thought they only had a 2 year term, or
  that they were in the reserves.
• -But in this armyall of US are needed each day
  to fight.
• -While there is no draft to force you to join,
  this you must do!

• You Must Be Enlisted
• -One must come to Jesus and accept His
  invitation (Mt. 1128-30 1230)-One must
  become a servant of the Lord in righteousness
• (Rom. 617-22)-One must come in obedient
  faith to belong to the Lord (Gal. 326-29)

• You Must Be Trained
• -One must be trained to know good and evil
  (Heb. 514)-One must use the sword of the
  Spirit to be trained correctly
• (II Tim. 316-17)-One must be disciplined in
  that which is godly and right (I Tim. 47-8)

• You Must Be Armed
• -One must have the armor of God as they enter
  the fight (Eph. 610-17)-One must have weapons
  to fight spiritual battles against sin. (II
  Cor. 103-6 67)-One must not fight a physical
  battle for a spiritual cause (John 1836 Matt.
  2651-52)

• You Must Be Strong
• -One must undergo hardship and needs to please
  God
• (II Tim. 23-4)-One must face and overcome
  temptation in their service
• (I Cor. 923, 27)-One must entrust his soul to
  the Lord and be faithful (I Pet. 412-19)

• -Jesus said, "He who is not with Me is against
  Me
• -If you are not with the Lords army today, you
  can enlist
• -If you have not been a good soldier of Jesus
  Christyou can make things right with Him
  today

• -One must listen and adhere to the orders of
  those in control
• (Matt. 2818-20)-One must submit to their
  authority as a good soldier
• (Col. 317)-One must be true to the commander
  of the forces (II John 9)

• You Must Be Marching
• -One must walk after the ways of God revealed
  by Him
• (Eph. 210 Rom. 83-4)-One must walk in the
  Spirit to avoid committing sin
• (Gal. 516-17, 24-25)-One must walk worthy of
  the calling of God (Eph. 41-3, 17 Phil.
  317-21)

• You Must Be Watching
• -One must be watchful for the enemy or they are
  defeated
• (II John 8)-One must see the enemy seeking
  the soul.
• (I Peter 58-9)-One must remember to pray and
  ask God for guidance (Mark 1438)

• You Must Be Fighting
• -One must fight the good fight of faith for our
  Lord, Jesus
• (I Tim. 612 118-19)-One must take a clear
  aim and then hit the target
• (I Cor. 926)-One must be able to say that
  they have fought the good fight in this life
  (II Tim. 47-8)
