  • Continuously variable transmission eliminates
    shifting.
  • 1400 lb. payload capacity.
  • 12/ 24 V, CAN and ethernet payload compatible.
  • Sensors detect positive and negative obstacles up
to 30 meters away in both tele-operation
    autonomous modes.
  • Front and rear fixed-focus drive cameras.
  • Pan/ tilt/ zoom cameras with infrared option.
  • COTS GPS with INS enhancement maintains accurate
    vehicle location. (RTK optional.)
  • Communications architecture ensures compatibility
with a wide range of payloads.
  • Operational Description
  • R-Gator, based on the proven John Deere M-Gator.
  • A COTS system, R-Gator can be operated in either
manned or unmanned mode in day or night missions.
  • Missions 6-hour stationary silent RECON mode,

remote deployment of smaller UGVs and UAVs.
  • Customer specific payloads.
  • Camera options are available.
  • May be equipped with remotely operated dump bed
    for marsupial deployment.
  • High flotation run flat tires.
  • OCU uses gaming technology minimizing training
    requirements. Wearable OCU available.

System Description R-Gator is a John Deere
M-Gator with an integrated robotics package. The
R-Gator provides color daylight and infrared
fixed focal length drive and pan/tilt/zoom
cameras, a thermal imaging camera, SICK LADAR
obstacle detection, bread crumb following, Way
point autonomous navigation, heading hold
control, multiple Operator Control Unit (OCU)
support (including a wearable version), and 1400
