Maintenance Admin
  • OOMA was designed to replace paper logbooks yet,
as each unit is implemented, logbooks continue to
    be maintained.
  • This redundancy of dual documentation has
considerably increased the man-hours required to
    maintain accurate aircraft logs/records.
  • MV-22 was designed to operate in the OOMA
    environment.
  • Solution Eliminate the requirement to maintain
paper logbooks as each T/M/S platform
    implementation is completed.
  • The M-SHARP-to-OOMA interface is not functional.
This requires flight data to be manually
downloaded to a disk from M-SHARP and uploaded
into OOMA. After uploading, the NAVFLIR must be
verified and approved in OOMA in order to
    maintain integrity of real-time inspection
records and high-time components. This process
creates a time lapse in identifying
    safe-for-flight concerns
  • Solution Until the M-SHARP/OOMA interface is
functional, direct pilots to enter flight data
into OOMA immediately upon return from flight.
