Living

• Iroquois homes
• They lived in homes called longhouses.
• Each longhouses held 30 to 60 individuals.
• The longhouse was made of elm tree bark.

Lacrosse

• The Iroquois played lacrosse.

Hunting

• Men and boys hunted bear, beaver, rabbits,
  muskrats, and deer.
• In the winter they would ice fish.

Agriculture

• The Iroquois would plant and grow crops such as
  corn.
• The women and girls would gather berries.

Tools

• The Iroquois made tools out of stone, bone, and
  antlers.

Canoes

• Trees were hallowed out to make canoes.
• They traveled on canoes to move on rivers streams
  and lakes.
• This allowed the Iroquois to migrate and trade.
