Objectives
System Design
As the humidity in the air effects the
capacitance of the sensor, the square wave output
of the 555 timer changes frequency. When
compared with a threshold value, this frequency
will trigger a piezoelectric buzzer to alert a
customer about increased humidity.
To design and manufacture a sensor system that
will alert increased humidity
Results
This system would allow for monitoring humidity
of agricultural, structural, and medical
applications.
