• Post observation discussion

  co-ordinator to devise an individual development
  plan based on the self evaluation questionnaire
  and the peer observation of teaching
• This sheet was then taken forward to the PDPR
  interview

HOW THE SYSTEM HAS CHANGED

• Kept the cycle process
• Changed the questions for the pre-observation
  discussion
• During the teaching session the observer used the
  pre-observation sheet as a guideline to work from
  to offer feedback on the agreed areas

COMMENTS

• It was really beneficial to observe another
  member of staff. I really enjoyed this part of
  the process
• It was harder to observe than to be observed
• The discussion afterwards was helpful in that it
  raised other issues as well

CHANGES

• The process will start again in September with
  amended forms
• A clearer structure of how the outcomes can feed
  into the PDPR process
• Move to school clusters and use other methods of
  review as well as observation of teaching
