Goal

• To observe the association between different
  pressures on international students and their
  academic performance (CGPA).

• Measure the effects of different types of
  pressure on the school performance (CGPA) of
  international students
• Possess the knowledge to recommend actions to
  help international students to enhance their
  academic performance

• Survey including questions about CGPA and scale
  of the three pressures
• Discussed the survey with Mr. Brennan, Program
  Director of the ISC
• Surveyed 30 participants
• Minimized bias collecting the data

• No statistically significant relationship
• Neutral trend
• 81 felt pressure, CGPA ? 3
• 57 felt less pressure, CGPA lt 3

• No statistically significant relationship
• Negative trend
• Respondents who felt pressure from their parents
  have CGPA higher than students who felt less
  pressure

Conclusion

• Overall, the higher the level of pressure the
  higher the CGPA
• On average, international students have a CGPA of
  2.79
• Average score on all pressures is 3.52 out of 5
