Mordecai refused to bow down to Haman, the
egotistical advisor to the King. Mordecai was a
Jew and only bowed down to God.

Haman persuaded the King to have all Jews killed.

Mordecai tells Esther to go to the King and plead
for her people, the Jews.

Esther calls for her people to fast and to pray.

Meanwhile, Esther invited the King and Haman to
several banquets before confiding with the King.

That night, the King couldnt sleep and asked for
a bed-time reading, and heard about Mordecai
warning of the assassination plot.

At that time, Haman entered and requested that
Mordecai be killed, but the King interupted and
suggested Mordecai be rewarded with a parade

Esther finally told the King how her people were
threatened. When the King discovered Haman was
responsible, he ordered him hanged.
