  • Assist in Real-time web as needed
  • Assist in building EREG into ENUM demo by 30
    Sept.
  • Draft of CNRP/SLS into IRIS framework by end of
    Q2
  • Whitepaper on DNS for Applications by end of Q2
  • Whitepaper on IRIS Geolocation Broker by 30 July
  • Directories for IM pilot by end of Q3
  • Assist in the movement of IRIS pilot for com/net
    into production by Q4

David Blackas 2005 Goals
  • If agreement is completed between Nominet and
    VRSN, create a NEC3 opt-in pilot enhancement by
    the end of Q4.
  • Complete a SLSng server by the end of Q3.
  • Finish Java dnssec unbound prototype including
    validation by end of Q2.
  • Complete a C version of an unbound resolver
    complete with validation by the end of Q4. This
    goal may be relaxed to just resolution if David
    needs to complete tasks that other parts of the
    unbound team was signed up to provide.
  • Care and feeding of the existing dnssec pilots
    throughout the year.

Matt Larsons 2005 Goals
  • Create an unbound C resolver by 30 Aug
  • Work with Piet on "DNS Behaviors Identified"
    presentation for fall NANOG by 15 Sep
  • DNS Guru work for whatever emergency comes up
  • DNSSEC deployment support by end 31 Dec
  • Complete every version of the resolver config
    known to mankind lab by end of Q3
  • Test the lab against AAAA root priming along
    with empirical data collection of priming
    client versions by 1 Dec

Pete Toscanos 2005 Goals
  • Complete Regular sysadmin tasks - including new
    environments for both internal and
    externally-developed pilots.
  • Move our IPv6 netspace into our own net block by
    end of Q2.
  • Integrate existing enum testbeds - make sure
    that all pilot activities work off of same
    database (Web, DNS, EPP, whois, and EREG) by 30
    July.
  • Complete EPP python client for EREG and Layer
    above DNS by end of Q3
  • Complete a whitepaper on secure box environments
    for OI by end of Q3.
  • Assist in small routing authentication effort to
    be completed by end of Q4.
  • Create an asterisk/VOIP/Dundee pilot that
    integrates our internal VOIP phones that is
    publically available by end of Q4.

  • Participate as IETF AD throughout 2005
  • Complete a provisioning draft for slsreg (layer
    above DNS)
  • Specify a general purpose reputation server for
    a federated id service
  • Specify a reputation server for
    registrar-to-registrar coordination
  • Participate in project liberty
  • Lead federated ID pilot rollout (in Q3 by Chris
    Bason)
  • Assist in DRM due-diligence with Jamba
  • Complete the specifications for provisioning
    DNSSEC data through EPP by 31 March 2005.
  • Help develop the decision process for developing
    a DNS software package that is recognized as an
    alternative software package to BIND by Unbound
    team
  • Coordinating an initial demonstration of
    capability not later than May 2005.
  • Providing overall project management leadership.
  • Engineering Quality Improvement
  • Complete and distribute an initial SEI CMMI
    self-evaluation checklist by 31 March 2005.
  • Complete and distribute an analysis of the
    self-evaluation by 31May 2005.
  • Prepare and deliver a draft plan for further SEI
    CMMI process implementation by 30 June 2005.
  • Provide technical expertise for VeriSign business
    initiatives as needed.
