NEW HORIZON CHRISTIAN Outreach MINISTRIES

• Thirty odd years ago, God gave a Jamaican man,
  the late Cedric Lue, a vision, that was to raise
  up young men without families and homes, to be
  decent and law abiding citizens..

• These boys lived in a home, where love and
  fellowship abounded, however, although they
  reieved the training necessary to cope in a
  social environment, Pastor Lue found they were
  not being trained enough in a technical skill.

Progress with 10 Environmental items

• Finished Fencing the entire property, thus
  securing the investment.
• Restored and upgraded power facilities, to
  receive Solar Electricity
• Progress of the project has been documented,
  incl. photos, video.
• Grey and Blackwater recycling system is to date,
  80 complete
• Water Harvesting is 90 completed
• Solar Heating is complete.
• Solar Electric Project powering lights in Home,
  currently underway. 80 completed
• Animal Husbandry Project with goat pen currently
  underway.
• Composting Project is complete.
• Landscaping as funded by EFJ is 95 completed.
• 2 residents currently, with a new resident slated
  to come at the end of March, 2005. Intake
  increasing slower than projected, due to now
  resolved internal personnel issues.
• 3 Young Men from the community visit the Facility
  many times per week to actively engage in our
  activities.
• Some community outreach programs have included a
  recent Fun Day for children, with Clown Show
  which was very successful.
• Reading, Writing, and Guitar Lessons, are the
  next most likely offerings to the community.

This was the old laundry, which is to be

SOLAR system, and the WASTEWATER, RAINWATER
