- All students deserve an education designed to
maximize their abilities. Students who desire
challenging academics should be encouraged and
motivated to excel beyond standard expectations
for their grade level. - Our Academy students will be accepted into an
outstanding four year university like UF, Georgia
Tech, FIT or MIT.
4PIRATES Academy ADMISSION REQUIRMENTS
- Cumulative 3.0 GPA or higher at the end of the
first semester of 8th grade year - A minimum of a B or higher in each math and
science course - Level 3 or higher on the 7th grade Math and
Reading FCAT - Must maintain a B in math or science in the 2nd
semester of 8th grade and earn a 3 on the FCAT
Math and Reading
5PIRATES Academy Program Requirements
- Complete a Junior Year Internship in a field that
you choose. - Complete a Senior Year Capstone Project!
- Four years of technology!
- Students will be required to provide a service to
our school and/or community (10 hours per
semester) eligibility requirement for Bright
Futures

- Students are prepared for upper level Math,
Science, English and History courses - Students are prepared for various career paths in
Medical, Engineering, Sciences or any career path
they choose. - Students take courses that prepare them for the

2010 who are eligible for this honor. Four of
these students are in the PIRATES Academy. - They will wear silver robes at graduation and
be announced at the beginning. - PIRATES Academy students are able to begin
working on this diploma in 9th grade. - How do you earn this diploma?
- Take six AP classes in three different
categories. - Example Math, History and English or
History, Science, Math any combination! -
