PLANS

Immediate Recommendations
  • Provide an immediate budget of RM50 million in
    2009/2010.
  • Fund the implementation of a demonstration
    corridor (e.g. F5 Motorcycle lane ).
  • Fund quick to implement simple upgrades across
    the nation (e.g. delineation).
  • Fund planning and preparation studies for 2011
    program.

10th Malaysia Plan 2011 - 2015
  • Provide an annual budget allocation of RM500
    million in the 10th Malaysia Plan.
  • Fund current iRAP recommendations in 2011/2012.
  • Fund extension of the iRAP surveys to remaining
    national network and high risk state roads.
  • Fund further implementation 2013-2015.
  • Include support for established black-spot and
    black-length priorities.
