• Want to get back home to celebrate Eid with
  their families and friends
• Because of this you might be tempted to
• Leave your worksite early before shift change
• Drive private cars in the night
• Travel in private cars after a full days shift
• Drive at too high a speed
• Travel long distances whilst tired

  excitement that
• Their bodies are weakened from fasting
• Their normal daily energy cycles are altered
• Remember, excitement does not mean that you can
  overcome tiredness.
• Driving whilst tired is a KILLER.

Remember the basic road safety rules

• PLAN get approval for Your journey and allow
  sufficient time.
• WEAR your seatbelts and ensure all your
  passengers also do
• OBEY the Traffic Rules-do not speed.
• NO overtaking at restricted area.
• AVOID driving at night-when the risks are
  higher.
• NO using GSM while driving.
• AVOID using private vehicles in the interior.
• REST when you feel tired.

Rollover 2 Dead
Eid Holidays 2 men drove from Yibal to Muscat
after a 12 hr shift. Slept a few hours and drove
back to Yibal.

Granted one day leave by his supervisor. In
order to save time, he decided to go for leave on
the same day instead of on the following day. As
there was no bus service from Marmul to Muscat in
the afternoon,
