• April is an 11 year old girl who has moved to
  Casa Rosada to stay with her Grandmother for the
  school year. Her mom was on a trip with a band.
  April is slightly mean and shows off, but only
  certain people like her friends and relatives
  will love her the most.

• Melanie is a friend of April who has stayed at
  Casa Rosado longer. She is also slender and 11 in
  6th grade. She is understanding and nice that is
  why she is a friend of April.

• Marshall is Melanies 4 year old brother. Even
  though he seems young, there isnt anything young
  about him. If you count the octopus security.

Elizabeth.

Setting

• The setting was in Michigan, a town where the
  professors yard was, Egypt, a dark alley, school
  and Casa Rosada(April, Melanie, and Elizabeth's
  houses.

Mood

• The mood is a lot of thing because of the way the
  kids are reacting to the facts hat they are
  finding and the way they are playing. Like when
  the professor had written the answer to
  Marshalls question all were baffled and thought
  it was magical until they found out it was the
  Professor then they felt relief. Scary because
  172 they thought the gods had sent that message
  and Egypt was much scarier after that.

Plot beginning

• In the beginning April meets Melanie and
  Marshall.
• They make Egypt in the Professors yard
• Elizabeth moves n Casa Rosada
• She is named Neferbeth and joins the Egypt gang.

Middle plot

• Melanies mom tells the kids to stay home because
  a murder was in the neighborhood.
• They meet Ken and Toby at Halloween
• Elizabeth invites them to be in the Egypt gang so
  they wont tell about it.
• They head back to school.

Ending Plot

• Ken and Toby join the Egypt Gang
• Marshall loses and finds Security.
• April almost dies because the murder had gotten
  her
• April and Marshall find out who the murder was.

• I would give the award of Most inspiring
  Egyptian book because it tells of mainly 2 kids
  who wanted to make an Egyptian Empire and worked
  hard to do it.

• I would recommend this to all children who love
  Egypt and the sort. I would really recommend it
  to all kids for its would but same personality.
