  • Thank you to all those who volunteered to assist
with S1 and S2 Junior PE classes.  A list of
helpers, teachers and times is now posted on the
Senior Sports Team notice board.  Please take
note of the times you are assisting and make
contact with the member of staff in charge of
your class.  Pupils should wear plain coloured
t-shirt and plain coloured shorts when working
with junior classes. (from Mr Cunningham)

  • PHYSICAL EDUCATION OPPORTUNITY
  • The Health Improvement Department have
identified a need for S6 pupils to be given an
    opportunity to participate in Physical
Education.  Having discussed this with the Health
and Wellbeing prefects there seems to be support
for this from S6 pupils.  Unfortunately, all S6
pupils cannot be accommodated due to numbers.
However, there are two opportunities to come
along, participate and get active.  These times
are Tuesday period 1 and Friday period 4.  The
majority of S6 pupils are free at this point.  PE
staff are volunteering to provide access to
physical activity for S6 and therefore those who
wish to sign up for this will be timetabled and
normal standards of kit, behaviour and
attitude of pupils in PE will be expected.  If
you would be interested in attending PE and
taking part in a range of activities from
football, swimming, fitness suite, dance, table
tennis, badminton, volleyball etc then please
give your name to Mr Cunningham.  Once we have
your name you will be assigned a class and will
appear on the register.  Therefore attendance
will become mandatory.  This is a unique
opportunity that few S6 across Scotland are
given, therefore make it worthwhile and get
    involved! (from Mr Cunningham)
