• Geostationary Satellites
• -There is no problem with frequency change.
• -Tracking of satellites is easy.
• -It is cover roughly fourth of the earth.
• -The can get quite weak after 35.000km
• -The polar regions are poorly served bye GEO
• -Delay of sending signal significant.
• LEO Satellites
• -Circular or slightly elliptical orbit under 2000
  km
• -Orbit period is 1.5, 2 hours, coverage about
  8000km.
• -Propagation delay is low
• -A received LEO signal is much stronger than GEO
  signal for the same transmission power.
• -For provide broad coverage over 24 hours, many
  satellites are needed
