Today is what we call Thanksgiving
Sunday. Thanksgiving day is a day we as a nation
pause to give thanks to God for His
blessings. For Christians every day should be
Thanksgiving day!

• BECAUSE OF OUR SALVATION (vs.1)
• We were dead in our trespasses and sin
  (Eph.21-2)
• We are alive in Jesus Christ Set Free (John
  836)

• Why we can give thanks
• BECAUSE OF WHO GOD IS (vs.2)
• He is our foundation to build upon (vs.2b)
• He is our structure our Shelter (vs.6)
• He is our Sustainer (vs.7)

• Why we can give thanks
• BECAUSE OF WHO WE ARE (vs.3)
• When we see Him for who He is we will be humble.
• We realize, as humans, we cannot hide our sin
  from Him.

• Why we can give thanks
• BECAUSE OF GODS FINAL VICTORY (vs.9)
• He is coming again for us (1 Thess.416-17)
• We have victory over death and the grave (1
  Cor.1551-57)
• We are going to be with Jesus in Heaven, but the
  lost will be in judgment (Rev.2011-15)
