Objectives

• To understand the need record where assets

• To know the difference between a primary and a
  secondary asset/source
• To have constructed your assets table

Primary or secondary?

• Which is which?
• Photograph
• Could be either (who took it?)
• Painting
• Could be either (painted form original or
  research?)
• Newspaper
• Secondary (unless you write the article)
• How reliable is a secondary source?
• Experiment with a chinese whisper
• (Send reinforcements, were going to advance)

Recording your sources

• You will create many things (images, etc.)
• You will obtain many things (pictures, fonts,
  etc.)
• You need to record all these in a table called
  assets table, even if you dont end up using them
  in your story
• This is what it might look like
• Create your own table in Word or Excel
