NIH Updates ARRA

• Health Sciences have submitted 618 proposals
  (equally 392,996,480) and received 5,251,998 in
  awards.
• Majority of the NIH ARRA funding opportunities
  deadlines have past
• Weve begun receiving awards
• Reporting requirements are still to be determined

• Effective March 27, 2009 with NOT-OD-09-075 the
  budget levels for training grants have increased.

  Please make sure that you check your packages and
  are not reusing old ones as this will cause
  errors.

NIH Updates NIH Salary Cap Budget
Justification

• If any of the investigators are at the salary cap
  then the it must be mentioned in the budget
  justification.
• This will ensure that when the salary cap raises
  they will automatically receive the increase.
