Fourth GOES-R Users Conference Assimilating
HES-CW Imagery and Products into an Ecological
Prediction System of Chesapeake BayChristopher

• Provides an overview of the project to develop a
  fully integrated, ecological model of the
  Chesapeake Bay and its watershed
• Briefly reviews the regional coupled biological
  physical ecosystem model employed to predict
  environmental conditions in the bay
• Describes our plans to use the Localized Ensemble
  Kalman Filter in order to maximize the amount of
  information that can be assimilated into the
  ecological prediction system from HES-CW
  measurements.
