SUPPREM a Virtual Campus about Sustainable
Development and Environmental Management
  • SUPPREM provides a set of e-learning modules
    which can be integrated in existing courses, new
    courses or programs in continuing education
  • Objective to build a common ground between the
    partners.
  • Today SUPPREM proposes more than 30 online
    modules (english, french, german, italian)
  • This context has encouraged participation in the
    e-Leru Virtual campus which was an opportunity to
    consolidate our experience.

SUPPREM Key Elements
  • Modularity, Fine granularity of contents, Blended
    learning approach, ECTS accreditation, Use of
    SCORM standard to be platform independent

e-LERU Campus
  • the Campus e-LERU is an initiative of eight LERU
    partner universities (LERU League of European
    Research Universities) in order to set up a
    common virtual campus enabling each partner
    university to offer its students high quality
    virtual mobility.

  • This course is divided into 3 modules
  • Key Concepts and Principles (1 ECTS)
  • Methodology and applications (1.5 ECTS)
  • Concrete realisation and evaluation (1.5 ECTS)
  • Pedagogical Key elements Cognitive approach and
    collaborative work, Problem solving approach
  • Pedagogical Tools Learning Path, Real time and
    recorded presentations (use of RealPlayer for the
    audio/video and SMIL presentations for recorded
    material), Communication tools (forum and wiki)

First experience with e-LERU ULP University
  • 2 e-leru students from ULP University in
    Strasbourg (Master en géographie)
  • Agreement signed by both Institutions for this
    e-leru collaboration
  • No official procedure and no institutional frame
    have been set up by the e-Leru Universities yet.
  • Accreditation has to be delivered by the 2
    professors of Geneva.

But the 2 students did not get their ECTS
credits.
  • PROBLEMS
  • Technical Problem of connexion in Strasbourg
  • Organization number of credits, academic year
    calendar, planning
  • Lack of local support

    accreditation facilities)

    to the students
