What is EndNote?

• A reference and image database for storing,
  managing and searching for bibliographic
  references.
• A bibliography and manuscript maker formatting
  citations, figures and tables as you write.
• An online search-tool - searching databases and
  retrieving or importing references into the
  EndNote database.

Create your library

• Write a reference. Choose the right card,
  journal article is default.
• Import from Internet or literature databases. Use
  correct import filters when necessary.
• Use Endnote as a search tool with Connection
  files.

Edit a manuscript

• Cite while you write, may be turned off.
• Styles. Found under Tools-menu. To edit styles
  you have to use Endnote on your own laptop/PC, or
  you can use styles from your home area.
• Journal abbreviations. Term lists are found under
  the Tools-menu.
