gamblers
  • It is ethical, family members are victims of
    problem gambling
  • Problem gambling can be a form of pathological
    coping to the psychological damage rooted within
    the family
  • An dysfunctional family system can maintain the
    problem gambling behaviour and be counter
    productive to the treatment process. On the other
    hand, a supportive family system enables a more
    pronounced and prolonged change.
