Momentum Story Problem

• James with a mass of 71 kg is traveling towards a
  lineman with a speed of 4.5 m/s. The lineman is
  moving towards James at 1.5 m/s with a mass of 95
  kg. How much is each of their momentums? Who
  will run over who?

• J mass 71 kg L mass 95 kg
• J speed 4.5 m/s L speed 1.5 m/s
• Momentum mass x velocity
• M 71 x 4.5 M 95 x 1.5
• 319.5 kg-m/s 142.5 kg-m/s
