OpenGL and SVS (Small Vision System)
Background Stereo vision based mapping system
currently being worked on by Andrew Chanler and
Matt Bailey. We are currently using two APIs to
produce 3D images based on real-time stereo
images.
OpenGL SVS feeds x, y and z data points to an
OpenGL application. A 3D images is displayed and
can be navigated.
SVS (Small Vision System) This API works with
stereo head cameras to produce disparity maps and
return x, y and z based on real-time stereo
images.

The two windows on the left are displayed through
SVS and Phission. The window to the right is
generated using the points SVS calculates in
OpenGL.
