• To develop a basis for a common methodological
  framework for the Verification, Validation and
  Accreditation (VVA) of data, models and
  simulations.

REVVA results terminology

• Validity
• The property of a simulation model to have,
  within a specific experimental frame, a
  behaviour which is indistinguishable from the
  behaviour of the System of Interest.
• Validation
• The process to demonstrate under a set of
  time, cost, skills, and organizational
  constraints that a simulation model has the
  property of validity.

• Correctness
• The property of a simulation model to comply with
  formal rules and bodies of reference information
  for its representation and for the transformation
  of its representation into another one.
• Verification
• The process to demonstrate under a set of time,
  cost, skills, and organizational constraints
  that a simulation model has the property of
  correctness.
