About the Genocide

• The conflict was between the three main ethnic
  groups in Bosnia-Herzegovina The Croats, Surbs,
  and Muslims.
• Genocide broke out between the Surbs and Muslims
  in Bosnia. The Surbs started the Genocide against
  Muslims.

More About the Genocide

• It started in 1992 and ended in 1995
• Approximately 20,000 people died, mainly Muslims.
• A corrupt government at the time created such
  conditions for a genocide to occur.
• The government is still corrupt, with constantly
  rotating presidents and an seemingly emerging
  democracy with no effect.
