1. Period for application

• Spring Semester (Starting from March)
• Should submit documents for application from Oct
  1 to Oct. 30 in the previous year
• Autumn Semester (Starting from September)
• Should submit documents for application from
  April 1 to April 30 in the respective year.
• Official Procedure
• Examination for foreign applicants will be
  executed before 4-5 months compared with the
  starting date of semester.

• Application form (Designated form/download)
• Resume (Designated form/download)
• Certificates of degree / Diplomas
• Official transcripts
• Recommendations (from 2 Professors from former
  University)
• Copies of passport , ID Card or Citizenship
  Certificate.
• Autobiograhpy(A4)
• Bank balance statement(USD5,000 deposited more
  than 1 month)
• TOEIC, TOEF L, TOPIK certificate (only for those
  who hold)
• Additional documents required for Chinese
  applicants

4. Scholarships

• Jungseok International Scholarship
• International students who gain admission will be
  eligible for scholarships. The eligibility and 
  mount provided will be decided based on the
  evaluation of various factors including students'
  academic performance each semester, language
  proficiency and contribution to research
  projects.
• Other Scholarship Program
• Scholarship for Teaching Assistant
• Scholarship for Research Assistant
• Professors Scholarship based on Projects

5. Information about Campus Life(1)

• Should submit these documents to the graduate
  office right after immigration
• A copy of Passport
• Should get the bill of registration from the
  graduate office and submit it to the treasury
  office with medical insurance fee
• Should keep the registration period

6. Information about Campus Life(2)

• Issuing Alien Registration ID Card
• Should visit the Immigration Office Incheon in
  person
• Materials for Application of F. ID Card
• Passport
• 2 Photos
• Certificate proving enrollment (English)
• Application Fee \10,000
• It takes about 2 weeks to get your foreign ID
  Card after application

7. Information about Campus Life(3)

• Issuing Student ID Card
• Should visit the graduate office
• Materials for Application of S. ID Card
• 1 Photo
• A copy of alien registration card
• A copy of passport
• It takes about 1 month to get your Student ID
  Card after application

8.Information about Campus Life(4)

• Registration of classes
• Should fill out the designated form for choosing
  classes listed on all the current curriculum, and
  submit the form to the graduate office during the
  designate period
• Application for Korean Language Course
• When you have already passed the Korean Language
  Efficiency Test managed by the Research
  Foundation of Korean Language
• Application for other scholarship program
• You can receive the Jungseok Scholarship and
  other scholarships together

9.Information about Campus Life(5)

• Dormitory Application
• You can apply for a dorm, but should do it before
  your immigration by way of your department office
• About 1,000,000 Won per each semester including
  vacation
• Other Housing
• One-room type rent
• Equipped with a fridge, air-conditioner, closet,
  gas burner, gas-heating equipment, and so on.
• Deposit money 23,000,000 won of and a monthly
  lent fee of 2300,000 won is needed
• Room rent nothing equipped with anything
• 150,000250,000 won per one month is needed

10.Information about Campus Life(6)

• Extending VISA Period
• Foreign students should extend their VISA every
  year
• Should visit the Immigration Office
• Documents for a VISA Extension
• Passport
• Certificate of enrollment
• Academic Transcripts
• Certificate of scholarship (Graduate Office)
• Notice Foreign students who finished the
  essential credits should extend VISA every six
  months

11. The time you should report to the office

• When you change your living place
• Notice your new address and new phone number
• When you go back to your home country
• You should sign on the list at the department
  office two times every month, but dont need to
  during vacation
• We will report changed cases to the Immigration
  office right after happening
• If you violate the rules above, there could be
  disadvantages
