Summary

• Odour of Chrysanthemums
• Is about a coal miners wife Elizabeth. She waits
  worried for her husband to return home. Elizabeth
  is concerned for his safty. She is at the same
  time angry, because of the trouble he has caused
  by coming home late. Sometimes drunk. Elizabeth
  is informed that her husband has been killed in
  an accindent. He died of suffocation. His corpse
  is brought inside the house. Elizabeth and her
  mother in law wash the body. She goes through
  reactions, such as anger, forgiveness and
  curiosity.
