Reasons for designing babies..

• To screen for inherit diseases (???)
• To create a healthy baby
• to treat a sick sibling
• To select the sex of a future child

Ethical problems

• It treats the new baby as a commodity(??)
• The child is just like a product of your choice.
• It's murder
• The child will only be allowed to live if it is a
  good product. Yet, if it is a bad one, it may be
  disposed of.
• Human Rights/other problems
• We should not Play God.

• For organs transplantation(????)

Religious Peoples View - Its absolutely
against gods will.

• Is the way parents rear a child also a way of
  designing a child?
