• I grew up in Claremont.
• I attended Oxford, Catawba Middle, BHHS, L-R and
  ASU.
• My experience
• Ive been teaching for 5 years.
• I love fourth grade! No longer babies-not yet
  teenagers!

• Follow directions.
• Respect others, propertyand yourself!
• Keep hands, feet, and objects to yourself.
• Be prepared for class.
• Remain quiet in the hallway.
• Turn in assignments on time.

Discipline

• Every student is given a warning
• If behavior continues, the student receives a
  number
• This number correlates to the rule broken and the
  letter is the teachers initial (ex. L3)
• Numbers are recorded in planners

Homework

• I will assign about 45 minutes of homework every
  night. This includes 20 minutes of reading.
• Your homework is due the next day-unless told
  otherwise
• If you need extra time to work on your homework,
  you can go to homework club during recess to work
  on it.

Expectations

• School starts at 800 A.M. Please be on time so
  we can earn bears
• Have planner signed EVERY night. This is where hw
  and numbers are recorded daily.
• Friday folders need to be returned on Monday.

Field Trips

• We have lots of fun field trips planned for this
  year!
• We will visit Grandfather Mountain and Linville
  Caverns in the fall.
• We will visit Hiddenite Gem Mines in the spring.
• We will visit Catawba Science Center for a
  hands-on experience
