VVA PLANNING
  • An essential component of the VVA effort is the
    documentation of those decisions (and their
    assumptions) which precede and result in the
    initiation of the development process.
  • Federation or stand-alone system?

  • Allowable risk and expediency?
  • Initial requirements for verification and
    validation?
  • Initial requirements for accreditation?
  • Remember our fundamental principle
  • VVA is performed TO PROVE WITH SUFFICIENT
    EVIDENCE TO A PREDETERMINED LEVEL OF CONFIDENCE,
    that the federation IS CREDIBLE AND ACCEPTABLE TO
    USE FOR ITS INTENDED PURPOSE.
