How to obtain NAV

• PC users can install it themselves
• Mac users contact 7000
• Contact 7000 for problems

Before Installing NAV

• Remove any existing anti-viral software
• Use the uninstall program in the software folder
• Or use Add/Remove programs in the Control Panel
• NAV will detect Dr. Solomons or other copies of
  itself
• Close all open programs

To install NAV
Double click the WKUNET (NAL) icon and look in
the Application installs folder. Double click
Norton Antivirus Install.

Running the NAV install
Click Continue to move to the next screen.

Checking for previous versions
Wait for the product to check for other programs.

Fill out all fields in the form

Installation Steps, (Part 1)

• After installation starts, wait

• Your computer will reboot when done
• If you have Dr. Solomons installed, it will
  reboot twice

Installation Scan, (Part 2)

• Upon restarting, a complete anti-virus scan will
  run. This can take 45 minutes!
• Wait for the completed message!

Other Installations, (Part3)

• Departmental Labs
• The Installer should enter his own Name and
  Social Security Number
• Enter each machines Inventory Control Number
• Home Installation
• To be developed in the future
• Will require you do the updates
