• To introduce the Windermere Planning Exercise
• To develop the lake as myself.

Scenario

• Over the next few weeks you will be responsible
  for developing the Windermere Lake area
• Instead of being yourself, you will be in
  character- therefore you will have to think like
  somebody else
• However today, you will be able to develop the
  area through the eyes of a 13/14 year old from
  Dudley- yourself!

Your job

• In pairs (with the person sitting next to you),
  on the A3 map provided, discuss how you would
  like to see the Lake area developed
• Then on the map, add your developments, making
  sure to use a key.
• There is no need for annotations
• In your exercise books, describe and explain what
  you have done to the area- Think reflectively-
  would a teenager in the Windermere area think
  similarly to you?

Homework

• You will be given a character by Mr Moreton
• This will be the person that you will play in the
  debate in a couple of weeks time, and the eyes
  through which you will develop the Windermere
  area
• Your Homework is to write an Autobiography of
  this persons life
• This is the 1st chapter of your project, so make
  it neat and professional
• Possible headings are

• Photo of the person

• Clubs they belong to

• Characteristics
• Attitude towards the Lake Windermere area
