Law-Making Process

Seatbelts on School Buses

• I have a strong opinion about seatbelts becoming
  a law on all school buses. I have became the
  sponsor of this meeting and would like for all to
  participate.

Make it a Holiday

• The committee found it okay and thought the law
  was a good idea. So now the law goes on a
  calendar . This calendar consist of laws that are
  waiting for some fair action.

Law Being Studied

• Today we are having the law studied by the
  committee. If they approve, then I am in the game.

Take it to the Hizzouse

• Now we have went through the first step and
  passed. We are now here at the House of
  Representatives for a full reading and
  understanding of the law in process. Here you
  will hear the reasons of why this law should be
  passed.

Only the Senate

• Even though I am going through all this trouble
  just to keep our children safe, I am not done
  yet. The Senate have to have the last word.

Here we go again

• The law has to studied once more by the committee
  of the Senate.

Back and Forth

• There is another conference with all the members
  of the House. After this is done, we have to go
  back to the House of Representatives.

We are almost there

• Now we have finished with the House, the idea
  have to be considered by the Senate once again. I
  honestly believe that they are going to pass my
  idea because I have one more meeting.

The PRESIDENT!!

• I had a meeting with the Speaker of the House and
  the Vice president. Guess what they signed the
  bill and sent me to the President. Lord was I
  nervous and for what. Now my idea is considered
  and all buses have to have seatbelts or not be
  driven.
