Update - November 2004

• System tested and fully operational.
• OCHA has released a memo to DPKO (dated 27 July)
  authorizing DPKO to proceed with a test
  deployment.
• The equipment for one complete remote site
  deployment has been tested and packed in UNLB
  (Ericsson provided assistance).
• MONUC (DRC) has agreed to provide the
  transportation and host the test deployment.

Update - November 2004 cont.

• Air lift to Kinshasa planned in the near future.
• Final test deployment location not yet
  determined.
• Ericsson has promised field assistance in DRC,
  if required.
• Note Once the first live test call will be made
  the 2 year Ericsson support gets activated.
• OCHA-DPKO MOU still under review.
