taking care of a puppy.

You need to first decide where your puppy will
sleep. Kennel or House?

Your puppy may have some sleepless nights.

The following are tips to make your puppy
comfortable.

• Line a box with a blanket or sweater to snuggle
  up to.
• Reassure the puppy from outside the door.
• Give the puppy some type of stuffed animal to
  keep it company.
• Even a piece of bread crust with butter will act
  as a pacifier.

Feeding Your Puppy

To start with, puppies should be fed 3 times a
day.

• After six months feeding can be reduced to
  twice a day.
• Puppies should be fed at the same time every day.
• Always make sure that there is fresh water
  available.

Training the Puppy

There are several simple commands that can be
taught at home.

• NO done in a stern voice.
• SIT
• STAY
• DOWN
• HEEL

The best way to continue training is to enroll
your puppy in obedience classes

Your puppy should be taken to the vet regularly
for vaccinations and worming.
