Objective - A protective cage will be created
to keep an egg from breaking after a drop from 4
feet. This will be described in terms of
Impulse, Time and Force.

• Materials
• 1 egg (dont break it before the drop!)
• 10 popsicle sticks
• 3 straws
• 1 plastic spoon or fork
• 1 rubber glove
• 1 piece printer paper
• 3 feet of fishing line
• 1 stick in hot-glue gun

• Procedure
• You have 45 minutes to build a protective cage
  for your egg.
• After this time, what you have completed will be
  dropped from the ladder 4 feet.
• A drop with no broken or cracked egg will be 5
  pts.
• A drop with a cracked egg will be a 4 - 4.5 pts.
• A drop with a broken/splattered egg will be 3.5
  4 pts.
• ? You must explain the design of your cage in
  terms of impulse, time, and force. Extra happy
  teacher if you can successfully incorporate
  energy, work, momentum, etc
