• When to Perform VWD Testing?
• It is recommended that testing for VWD not be
  performed in the 2nd or 3rd trimester of
  pregnancy, following strenuous exercise, or
  during stressful conditions. VWF is an acute
  phase reactant and elevated levels due to these
  conditions may mask a diagnosis of VWD.
